Nomination Form - Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee

The Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee oversees the development, update and test of the Municipal Emergency Management Plan.  The Municipal Emergency Management Plan seeks to prepare for and plan how we will respond to emergencies throughout the shire.

Nominations are invited from interested community members for positions on the committee.  Particularly in the categories of;

  • community representative

  • recovery representative

  • other representative (such as an industry, business or additional agency)

You will have an understanding of the Victorian Emergency Management arrangements, strong community links and be prepared to attend a minimum of 4 meetings per year. 

Membership of the committee is by appointment by the Council and subject to the Terms of Reference for the committee.
